Drylining Project Manager
Project Manager – Construction (Drylining, Ceilings, Partitioning, Raised Access)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects from inception through to completion. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Candidates must have experience delivering commercial projects within the drylining, ceilings, partitioning, or raised access flooring sectors, with contract values ranging from £1m – £5m in the Greater London area.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee assigned projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
Lead project review meetings, covering health & safety, quality, progress, and client reporting.
Ensure site operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
Manage procurement activities, selecting materials and suppliers to achieve best value.
Plan and allocate resources effectively, identifying and mitigating project risks.
Work closely with design, estimating, procurement, and commercial teams to support successful outcomes.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Provide leadership to project teams, delegating responsibilities and fostering professional development.
Carry out regular compliance audits in line with business management systems.
Promote a culture of uncompromising safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing commercial projects in the drylining, ceilings, partitioning, or raised access flooring sectors.
Track record delivering projects valued between £1m – £5m in the Greater London area.
HND/Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and quality standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and liaise confidently with clients.
CSCS Black or Gold card and SMSTS qualification.
Professional membership of CIOB (desirable).
