Job Title: Site Manager – Steel Frame New Build Apartments

Location: Manchester

Contract Type: Permanent or Freelance (Negotiable)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a steel frame new build apartment project in Manchester on behalf of one of our established clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a high profile development from the ground up, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations, including subcontractor management and progress monitoring

Ensure health & safety regulations are strictly followed

Maintain quality control and ensure works are carried out to specification

Liaise with project managers, architects and engineers

Keep accurate site records and manage reporting and scheduling

Requirements:

Proven experience managing steel frame residential or commercial builds

Valid CSCS Card

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certified

First Aid at Work certification

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to drive progress while maintaining safety and quality standards

Contract Type:

This role can be offered on a permanent basis or as a freelance contract, depending on candidate preference and availability.
