We are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to join the project team on a large-scale data centre development in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated post-graduate who is eager to build a long-term career in the construction and engineering sector.

The Role:

Support the Electrical Engineering team in delivering project requirements.

*

Assist with design reviews, coordination, and on-site inspections.

*

Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

*

Ensure health, safety, and quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

*

Gain exposure to large, complex projects while developing your technical and professional skills.

About You:

*

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).

*

1–2 years’ post-graduate experience (preferably within construction or large projects).

*

Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

*

A proactive approach and eagerness to learn.

*

Based in the Newport area with access to own transport.

*

Previous experience on larger projects is advantageous but not essential.
