Project Manager – New Build Housing

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a prestigious £25m residential development in Cambridge, comprising a mix of new build apartments and houses.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a landmark scheme from start to finish, working with a respected contractor/developer and ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of the project.

Oversee all construction activities on site, ensuring programme, budget, and quality targets are met.

Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

*

Monitor progress, resolve issues, and report to senior management and stakeholders.

*

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.

*

Maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and local authorities.

About You

*

Proven track record of delivering large-scale residential schemes (£20m+ ideally).

*

Strong knowledge of new build processes for both apartment blocks and houses.

*

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

*

Commercially aware, with the ability to manage budgets and programmes effectively.

*

Confident managing complex residential builds from pre-construction through to handover.
