Planner / Scheduler – Social Housing Repairs

re you highly organised, a strong communicator, and motivated by keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a Planner/Scheduler to join our busy maintenance team, supporting the delivery of repairs and maintenance services for social housing residents.

About the Role
As a Planner/Scheduler, you'll play a key role in ensuring our operatives are in the right place at the right time. You'll be the link between tenants, operatives, and supervisors, making sure repairs are booked efficiently and completed on time.

Your day-to-day will include:

Scheduling and allocating work to operatives across a range of responsive repairs and maintenance tasks

Managing diaries, coordinating appointments, and rescheduling when necessary

Communicating with residents to confirm and update repair appointments

Working closely with supervisors and customer service teams to prioritise urgent repairs

Tracking progress and ensuring jobs are completed within agreed timescales

About You
We're looking for someone who is:
✅ Organised with excellent attention to detail
✅ Confident using IT systems and scheduling software
✅ A great communicator with strong customer service skills
✅ Able to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
✅ Experienced in a planning/scheduling or administrative role (housing/maintenance sector experience is an advantage)
