Senior Project Manager – Major Construction Scheme (Caribbean) 12 months Fixed Term Contract – Immediate start required – October mobilisation.

A leading international construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to deliver a high-profile project in the Caribbean. This is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise, leadership and vision to one of the most exciting and challenging construction environments in the region.

The project will be an education focused building – Valued at £30-£40m.

The Role

You will be fully responsible for the successful delivery of a flagship scheme — on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the overall management and delivery of a major Caribbean project

Overseeing subcontractor performance, procurement and contractual management

Ensuring compliance with local legislation, environmental standards and health & safety regulations

Managing budgets, programmes and reporting for complex works

Driving collaboration and excellence across project teams, consultants and local partners

Identifying and implementing innovative approaches to improve efficiency, sustainability and quality

About You

We’re looking for a proven leader with exceptional project management experience who can navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of the Caribbean construction sector. You’ll bring:

A strong track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager

In-depth knowledge of Caribbean construction practices, regulations and supply chains

Demonstrable expertise in managing subcontractors and procurement on high-value programmes

Excellent commercial awareness, problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management

The ability to inspire, motivate and develop diverse teams, while maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships

A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for innovation and leaving a lasting positive legacy
