Minimum 3 Month Contract

Hybrid Working, 1 day per week in the office

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Senior Planning Officer to join one of our Northamptonshire based clients on a temporary contract

Daily duties of the Senior Planning Officer:

Undertake research to build and maintain a strong evidence base for policy.
Ensuring compliance with local, regional, and national planning policies.
Negotiating with developers, architects, and stakeholders to improve development proposals.
Developing and reviewing local planning policies and frameworks.
Lead/assist in public participation and community engagement activities.
Manage databases, monitor trends, and analyse evidence for policy development.
Provide policy advice on complex planning applications and corporate projects.
Prepare statements, represent the Council at appeals, hearings, and court.
Support delivery of special projects as required.Essential requirements of the Senior Planning Officer:
