Job Description
Our Client is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their team in Newport. You will coordinate, support, and advise on all aspects of Health & Safety, ensuring compliance with legislation and maintaining high standards across the business.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety policies and procedures

*

Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments

*

Deliver comprehensive Health & Safety training to employees

*

Investigate and report incidents and accidents

*

Collaborate with managers to maintain a safe working environment

Schedule

40 hours per week

*

Monday to Friday, shifts between 08:00–17:30

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Health & Safety management

*

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)

*

NEBOSH National Fire Certificate in Fire Safety & Fire Safety Management

*

COSHH trained

*

Experience with Fire Risk Assessments

*

Skilled in advising managers, handling investigations, and delivering training

*

Strong knowledge of H&S policies, procedures, and legislation
