Job Title: Hire Controller – Tool & Plant Hire

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum

We’re a small, friendly tool and plant hire company based in Leeds, known for providing excellent service and reliable equipment to our customers. We’re looking for a Hire Controller to join our team and help us keep our hire operations running smoothly.

The Role:
As Hire Controller, you’ll be at the heart of our hire operations, managing equipment bookings, coordinating with customers, and ensuring stock availability. Your experience in the hire industry will help us maintain high standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage hire bookings and reservations efficiently

* Maintain accurate hire records and stock levels

* Liaise with customers to ensure smooth delivery and collection of equipment

* Coordinate with the workshop and delivery teams

* Monitor hire agreements and ensure compliance with company procedures

About You:

* Previous experience working in the hire industry is essential

* Excellent organisational and communication skills

* Able to multitask and work efficiently in a small team environment

* Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
