Are you passionate about helping people and improving customer experiences? We’re looking for a Customer Liaison Officer to act as the friendly face and trusted contact for residents, ensuring projects are delivered smoothly while building confidence and trust within the community.

About the Role

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you’ll be a key link between residents and project teams. You’ll provide updates, answer queries, and offer reassurance throughout home improvement works, making sure residents feel supported at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

Resident Communication: Keep residents informed on timelines and works, resolving concerns quickly and professionally.

Engagement & Education: Explain the nature and benefits of the works being carried out, ensuring residents feel informed and involved.

*

Support & Reassurance: Provide a calm, approachable presence, especially for vulnerable or anxious residents.

*

Team Collaboration: Work closely with site and office colleagues to ensure smooth project delivery and prompt issue resolution.

*

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, feedback and satisfaction to support ongoing service improvements.

What We’re Looking For

*

Experience: Strong background in customer-facing roles; experience in housing, construction or community engagement is advantageous. Skilled in handling concerns and conflict resolution.

*

Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; empathetic, organised and proactive.

*

Technical: Confident with Microsoft Office; knowledge of CRM systems a bonus.

*

Education: GCSEs (or equivalent) required; further qualifications in customer service desirable.

Working Hours & Conditions

Monday to Friday, primarily site-based across Cheshire & the Northwest

Some flexibility may be required for resident meetings outside standard hours
