Waites Recruitment Consultancy Ltd are weeking with a small family run business in South London who are looking to Hire a Site Manager on a full time basis who has experience with projects in New build flats.

We are looking for a site manager for a block of 9 new-build flats in SE15. My client is currently running two projects at the same time which the Site Manager will over see.

This role is a full time position, and my client is looking to interview and hire immediatelty.

The Role

As Site Manager, you’ll lead all on-site activity from breaking ground through to handover. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, to standard, and within budget – while maintaining strong relationships with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm

Core responsibilities:

Manage all day-to-day site operations for new build housing schemes

Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are delivered to spec

Monitor build programme and flag delays or risks early

Ensure health & safety compliance, reporting, and quality checks

Liaise with internal departments, clients, and local authorities as needed

Promote a positive, productive site culture

Who We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential housebuilding

Strong technical understanding of new build processes (traditional and modern methods)

SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid qualified (or equivalent)

Quality-focused, organised, and an excellent people manager

Able to problem-solve on site and drive a positive HSE culture

Someone ambitious who wants to grow with the business
