Senior Electrical Supervisor

We’re working with a leading main contractor delivering a flagship £300m new build healthcare project in King’s Cross. They are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to join the team on a 6-month contract paying up to £400 per day.

The Role

As Senior Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including ICT, CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and BMS.

You’ll take ownership of site activities, ensuring works are carried out safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on one of London’s landmark healthcare builds.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems.

Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

*

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and other trades.

*

Review shop drawings, resolve site issues, and oversee cabling and terminations.

*

Inspect works, prepare snag lists, and ensure correct system integration.

*

Lead on health and safety: toolbox talks, incident reporting, and compliance.

*

Manage manpower, delegate tasks, and support technicians and subcontractors.

*

Liaise with consultants and clients for inspections and approvals.

*

Prepare as-built drawings, test documents, and handover records.

*

Support commissioning to ensure timely project delivery.

About You

*

Strong background supervising ELV systems on large-scale construction projects.

*

Excellent knowledge of ICT, security, access control, fire alarms, and BMS.

Skilled at leading teams, coordinating trades, and driving quality on site.

*

Committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards.
