Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

The Company:

We are working with a Regional Building Contractor who have grown consistently over the last few years and are capable of taking on construction projects valued up to £15 Million for a varied client base which are exclusively based in the North West of England.

They are privately owned, profitable and are active in several market sectors including; education, healthcare, extra care, residential, commercial and industrial.

This is a really good opportunity to join a long-established business who extremely financially stable.

They secure work through several key regional procurement frameworks and good relationships with private sector clients and consultants.

The Role:

They would like to recruit a Junior/Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to take on some smaller works projects in Greater Manchester.

Typical duties include:

Tendering for the smaller schemes valued between £50,000 – £200,000

CVRs for the above schemes  

Pricing smaller schemes

Requesting quotations & placing material & sub-contractor orders/issuing Pos

Monitoring Invoices from subbies and suppliers and cross check with POs for payment

You:

You will be able to commute to their offices and sites in the Cheshire area.

You will be IT literate and have an understanding of construction contracts.

You will ideally have experience working smaller works projects or measured term contracts.
