Role – Site Manager
Location – Bristol
Mint Selection are working with a specialist ICP who are seeking a Site Manager to lead site operations on a renewable energy connection project in Bristol.
Scope of work:
* Manage daily site operations for HV/LV ICP connection works, including civils, cable installation, and substation builds.
* Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet programme and budget requirements.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards, including CDM.
* Act as the on-site client representative, liaising with DNOs/iDNOs, local authorities, and stakeholders.
* Oversee site documentation including RAMS, permits, daily records, and progress reports.
* Monitor site progress and escalate risks, delays, or issues to the Project Manager.
* Ensure operatives are briefed through toolbox talks and site audits.
* Support commissioning activities and project handover to adopting network operators.
Experience to be considered:
* Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering electrical works on energy projects.
* Strong understanding of contestable works, DNO/iDNO processes, and HV/LV distribution networks.
* Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
These will be 6-month renewable contracts and are outside IR35.
