The Opportunity
Hill McGlynn is proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist construction firm, currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and organised professional to take control of multiple high-profile projects across the capital.

This role is best suited to a Contracts Manager with a strong technical background, ideally with experience in cladding and façades – though this is not essential, it is a significant advantage.

Role Overview
As Contracts Manager, you will oversee the delivery of multiple construction packages, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You’ll act as a key liaison between site teams, commercial staff, and clients – driving performance, managing risk, and ensuring full contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and deliver multiple construction projects simultaneously

* Ensure contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle

* Lead site teams and ensure HSEQ standards are rigorously upheld

* Work closely with commercial and design teams to monitor budgets and programme

* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners

* Oversee progress reporting, change control, and project handovers

Candidate Profile:

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the UK construction industry

* Strong background in external envelope, building envelope, or general construction projects

* Experience with cladding and façades is highly advantageous

* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple live projects and project teams

* Knowledge of contract forms such as JCT or NEC

* Relevant construction qualifications or trade background
