Quantity Surveyor – Part Time
A specialist subcontractor is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide part-time commercial support on projects in Cheshire. This is a flexible 2-3 days per week contract role, suited to someone with relevant subcontracting experience who can work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with applications for payment, variations, and final accounts.
Support the management of subcontractor accounts, including procurement, valuations, and payments.
Produce cost reports and forecasts to keep projects financially on track.
Carry out contract administration in line with NEC requirements.
Keep accurate records and support change/variation management processes.
Experience Required:

Background as a Quantity Surveyor within specialist subcontracting, ideally in fire protection, cladding, façades, or technical installation trades.
Familiarity with NEC.
Previous experience on infrastructure or large-scale projects (rail, utilities, transport) beneficial.
Comfortable liaising with clients, supply chain partners, and project teams.
Able to work independently on a part-time basis.

Contract Type: Part-time (2-3 days per week)
Day Rate: £350-£400 (depending on experience)
Office based.
