Job Title: Wet Room Fitter – Disabled Adaptations
Location: Redbridge Borough
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Temporary Ongoing
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £20-£21.50/hour (CIS)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Wet Room Fitter to carry out disabled adaptations for a social housing contractor working across the Redbridge borough. This is a lone working role, focused on full wet room installations including plumbing, tiling, and fitting accessibility aids.

Key Responsibilities:

Install wet rooms to DFG (Disabled Facilities Grant) standards
Fit grab rails, shower seats, and other mobility aids
Ensure work is completed to a high standard and complies with health & safety regulations
Communicate effectively with tenants and site teams

Requirements:

Proven experience in wet room fitting and disabled adaptations
Must have own van and basic hand tools
Must cover own fuel costs
Parking is residential and can be expensed if necessary
Basic DBS check required
Builders merchants card will be provided
