Your new role
Looking to strengthen the Sustainability team with a Senior Associate Sustainability Consultant based in Manchester, this organisation’s services include bespoke sustainability strategies, net-zero carbon consultancy alongside certifications including BREEAM, SKA and WELL. This role presents an opportunity to work across various projects and client accounts in the UK and Europe while offering an excellent platform to progress, with a very supportive and robust career development structure.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide strategic sustainability consultancy, working with clients and colleagues internally to direct on strategic deliverables and grow strong client relationships.
- You should have a holistic knowledge of sustainability and wider environmental, social and governance issues for both the built environment and wider corporations.
- To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances.
- To carry out assigned obligations efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.
What you’ll need to succeed
Qualifications
- Degree in sustainability or similar field
- Ideally chartered or be a practitioner working towards chartership
Experience
- Conduct project, strategic and technical delivery alongside client engagement
- Be externally facing and the person should be proficient in driving forward projects and business development activity with an ability to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Previously employed by a consultancy or contractor in a similar role.
- Strong experience in developing achievable sustainability, net-zero carbon and / or ESG strategies
- Experience of delivering BREEAM, LEED, WELL assessments
- Strong experience of business development
- Leading discussions with clients, writing compelling proposals and building relationships
