We’re Hiring: Skilled Carpenters

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to carry out repairs and maintenance on fire doors across a range of properties. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and a solid understanding of fire door compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out repairs and adjustments on fire doors to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations

*

Replacing damaged or non-compliant doors, frames, seals, and hardware

*

Conducting routine maintenance and minor joinery works

*

Completing job reports and documentation as required

*

Working in occupied buildings including residential, educational, and healthcare environments

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Carpenter or Joiner

*

Sound knowledge of fire door installation and maintenance standards (BM Trada/FIRAS desirable)

*

Enhanced DBS certificate- required but can be put through

*

Own tools and PPE

*

Good communication and interpersonal skills

*

Full UK driving licence (preferred if role requires travel)
