Quantity Surveyor – Middlesbrough

I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to work on a design & build project in Middlesbrough.

The contract will last 8 months with timelines being a high priority for the client. You must be able to hit the ground running.

Requirements:

* 10+ years experience in a quantity surveying / cost setting.

* Sub contract management experience (essential)

* Client side experience (essential)

* Cost control experience (essential)

* JCT management (essential)

* Chemical production project experience (desirable)

* Mentoring and working with colleagues, sharing knowledge and experience.

* Communicate and present in a professional manner, both written and verbally.

* Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership and work well in a team.

* Actively demonstrate initiative and able to work independently under pressure to meet deadlines efficiently.

* A flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, lifelong learning.

Rate: £450 per day LTD however negotiable for the right profile.

Start Date: October 2025

End Date: May 2026
