Contracts Manager – Regional Civil Projects
A leading UK civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for a Contracts Manager to deliver high-profile civil schemes across London and the South East. Projects range from regeneration and junction improvements to infrastructure upgrades in the energy and rail sectors, with values between £2m and £20m.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll manage multiple civil projects, taking ownership of safety, programme, and profitability. You’ll lead self-delivery teams under NEC contracts and work closely with local authorities, transport bodies, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee multiple civil engineering projects or major sections (values £2m–£20m).
* Take responsibility for tenders, forecasting, CVRs, and project profitability.
* Deliver regeneration, junction improvement, and infrastructure upgrade schemes.
* Manage self-delivery teams and subcontractors under NEC contracts.
* Build strong relationships with local authorities and partners.
Requirements:
* Experience managing multiple projects or large sections within civil/infrastructure schemes.
* Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial skills.
* Background in highways, local authority, regeneration, or infrastructure upgrades (not maintenance-only).
* Civil engineering qualification advantageous; professional membership desirable.
Package:
* £65,000 + car allowance
