An experienced regional contractor, c.£50m turnover, is seeking a Design Manager to join their London Bridge office. This medium-sized main contractor delivers new build, design & build, and refurbishment schemes across London and the South-East, covering sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, offices, super-prime residential and standard residential. Projects typically range from £2m – £15m in value.

Typical responsibilities:
🔶 Manage design process from pre-construction through delivery
🔶 Lead design meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders
🔶 Ensure compliance with building regulations and technical standards
🔶 Coordinate design information between internal teams and external consultants
🔶 Support bids, tenders and design presentations
🔶 Oversee value engineering and buildability reviews
🔶 Manage design risk and resolve technical queries on site
