We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a live social housing re-roofing scheme based in Bury. This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start available.

About the Role:

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of an active re-roofing site, ensuring works are carried out safely, to a high standard, and on programme. The role requires someone with strong health & safety compliance, excellent coordination and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage both sub-contractors and client relationships professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee site operations and ensure project delivery in line with timelines and quality standards

Ensure strict health & safety compliance and maintain all site documentation

Coordinate and manage sub-contractors and ensure productivity

Build and maintain strong working relationships with the client and residents

Monitor progress, attend site meetings, and provide regular reports

Requirements:

Proven experience managing social housing refurbishment or re-roofing schemes

SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid (essential)

Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and regulations

Excellent communication and site management skills

Ability to hit the ground running on a live site
