Project Controls Engineer

About the Role

SibiNet is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading consultancy, for a Project Controls Engineers to join their growing Midlands PMO team.

This is an exciting opportunity to support major programmes and projects across sectors such as power, water, rail, transport and local authority. You’ll play a key role in planning, scheduling, risk management, and performance reporting, helping clients achieve better project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver tailored project performance and reporting solutions to meet client needs.

* Support the development of project baselines, KPIs and dashboards.

* Analyse project data, highlight trends, and recommend recovery actions.

* Contribute to governance, reporting packs, and client presentations.

* Work collaboratively with project teams, digital specialists, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

* Coach and mentor junior team members where appropriate.

About You

* Experience in a project or programme environment (infrastructure experience preferred).

* Good understanding of project controls disciplines (scheduling, cost, change).

* Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Power BI); familiarity with Primavera P6, ARM or Ecosys is desirable.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.

* A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
