Job Description:
Stridden Limited are recruiting for an established Groundworkers and Civils Contractor who have an opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Key Duties:
Your role will involve:
* Support management with reporting and commercial matters.
* Assist with subcontractor, supplier and partner relationships.
* Help prepare orders, process invoices and track payments.
* Attend site meetings to monitor progress and materials.
* Keep records and contract documentation up to date.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Qualification in Quantity Surveying or 2 years' Quantity Surveying experience within the Groundworks and civils sector
* Understanding of construction methods and costs
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Good problem-solving ability with a practical approach
* A proactive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
* Passionate about building a career in the construction industry
* Ability to commute to site and HO reliably
