The Role – Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic commercial team. You’ll be working on high-profile cut and carve, structural refurbishment, and CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects ranging in value up to £60m.

This is a site-based role, offering the opportunity to be hands-on with live projects as a Quantity Surveyor and collaborate closely with delivery teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all commercial aspects of assigned projects from procurement to final account.

Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts and cost reports.

Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiation and contract administration.

Conduct valuations, variations and payment applications.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.

Support project teams with cost advice and risk management.

Requirements

Proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.

Strong background in cut & carve, refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes.

Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
