Senior Engineer – Civil Project (Mons, Belgium)
BIR Europe is currently seeking experienced Senior Engineers to join a major Civil Engineering Project based in Mons, Belgium. The role is available for an immediate start, with interviews to be arranged promptly. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long-term international project involving a mix of groundworks and reinforced concrete (RC) structures.

Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, your duties will include:
* Managing and coordinating Setting Out Engineers on-site.
* Ensuring all drawings are accurate and contain the necessary information before work begins.
* Raising and tracking Technical Queries (TQ) / Requests for Information (RFI).
* Attending design and site meetings with stakeholders.
* Providing technical support and up-to-date information to the site team.
* Coordinating with designers, architects, and other relevant professionals.
* Ensuring that the project progresses on time and within scope.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* ✅ Valid CSCS White Card (or equivalent).
* ✅ Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Engineer.
* ✅ A minimum of 3–5 years of UK/Europe experience in groundworks and reinforced concrete works.
* ✅ Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
* ✅ Practical knowledge of materials procurement, particularly reinforcement.
* ✅ The right to live and work in Europe (EU residency or appropriate visa).
* ✅ Strong communication and coordination skills.
