SPS Roofing Ltd, a well-established roofing contractor based in Exeter, is looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their expanding team. Operating across the South Coast, SPS delivers a wide range of projects including pitched roofing, flat roofing, and bespoke metalwork, with values ranging from £10,000 to £1.2 million.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop in a supportive, relaxed environment – whether you're a junior Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or even a Trainee Estimator ready to take your next step.

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing cost estimates and tender submissions

Supporting project teams through cost tracking and commercial support

Working across a variety of roofing projects, from small-scale refurbishments to high-spec metalwork installations

Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and procurement

Reporting to company directors and working closely with site teams

What We're Looking For:

Experience in estimating or quantity surveying (ideally 1-3 years), or a strong trainee looking to grow

Good understanding of construction processes

Strong IT/computer skills – confident with Excel and estimating software

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Someone who fits into a friendly, relaxed team culture

Willing to be office-based full-time initially (Exeter), with flexibility for hybrid working once settled
