Trainee Remedial Estimator
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Remedial Estimator to join our team and support the Remedial Manager in generating accurate and timely quotations for remedial works. Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Remedial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Assessing Work Reports: Review and interpret detailed work report sheets to fully understand the scope and nature of remedial works required.
* Collaboration with Engineers: Liaise with onsite engineers and technical teams to clarify requirements related to materials, access constraints, and labour needs.
* Material Sourcing & Pricing: Identify and source materials required for remedial works, obtaining accurate and competitive pricing from approved suppliers.
* Quotation Preparation: Build comprehensive and precise quotations, incorporating labour, materials, and any other associated costs.
* Client Communication: Issue quotations to clients in a professional and timely manner, ensuring clarity of scope and costs.
* Quote Follow-Up: Actively follow up on issued quotations, prioritising urgent repairs and high-priority projects to maintain client satisfaction.
* Pricing Library Management: Support the maintenance and regular updating of a materials pricing library to ensure consistent and reliable quoting across projects.
