CSCS Senior Site Engineer

NPP are recruiting on behalf of a leading groundwork's & civil's specialist for a senior setting out, site engineer based in the West Midlands area.

The role is to carry out site engineer duties, provide technical information and insight to the site teams to ensure the project can be run and completed to the highest standards.

Duties

* Ensure all project drawings and information is accurate

* Ensuring that all CAD information is checked and accurate

* Provide correct technical guidance to the site teams

* Setting out duties, and relaying information to the Contracts Manager

* Have a good understanding of earthwork volumes, documenting and reporting any changes

* Promote use of GPS machine control where possible

* Ensure QA management procedures are implemented

* Storing and sharing information

* Maintaining accurate records of any changes during the construction process and sharing this information with the surveyor and contracts manager

* Ensure total station calibrations are carried out annually

* Attending weekly site progress meetings, client meetings and pre-start meetings

Qualifications and Experience

* Minimum HNC in construction or civil engineering

* 3 years experience in a similar role

* Good knowledge of materials to ensure any specifics or alternatives are considered

* Ability to work under own initiative
