The Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void works across our social housing portfolio. You will be responsible for ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standard, on time, and within budget, while maintaining compliance with the NHF Schedule of Rates Version 8.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day delivery of social housing maintenance contracts, ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.

Monitor financial performance, cost control, and variations using NHF SoR V8.

*

Lead, support, and develop site managers, supervisors, and operatives.

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

*

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders.

*

Prepare and review contract reports, KPIs, and performance data.

*

Identify opportunities for service improvements and efficiencies.

About You

*

Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or similar role) in social housing maintenance.

*

Strong knowledge and practical use of NHF Schedule of Rates (Preferably Version 8).

*

Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

*

Financial and commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts.

*

A customer-focused approach with the ability to resolve issues effectively.

*

Strong knowledge of health & safety compliance in housing maintenance.

*

Full UK driving licence.
