The Role
As Bid Writer, you will oversee the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission and review. You will act as the central point of coordination, ensuring timely delivery of professional, high-quality proposals that meet client requirements and reflect the company’s strengths.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the full bid lifecycle, from initial opportunity identification to submission and post-bid review.

* Collaborate with sales, estimating, and operational teams to gather information and produce competitive, compliant bids.

* Draft, edit, and format clear, persuasive, and client-focused proposals, case studies, and supporting materials.

* Maintain a centralised library of templates, evidence, and company information for use in bids.

* Research client needs, competitor activity, and market trends to strengthen proposals.

* Coordinate bid programmes, timelines, and team contributions to ensure on-time delivery.

* Monitor bid performance and support continuous improvement.

The Ideal Candidate

* Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.

* Proven experience in bid writing, tender management, or a similar role.

* Excellent project management and organisational skills.

* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

* Customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships.
