Hays Building Services are pleased to be assisting an Electrical contractor in the recruitment of an Electrical Estimator to join their team in Bristol.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissions for projects ranging in value from £100,000 to £3.5 million across high-quality commercial and light industrial projects.

You will prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates and tender documentation, review and analyse specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements, undertake material and labour take-offs to support cost planning as well as collaborate with pre-construction, design, and project teams to ensure accuracy and competitiveness of tenders.

What You'll Need To Succeed

You will have demonstrated experience in electrical estimating or a time-served background as an electrician or electrical supervisor looking to progress into a full-time estimating role.

You will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Get In Return

This role is being offered with a salary between £35,000 – £60,000 per annum depending on experience on a permanent contract.
