M&E Site Manager (Decarbonisation) – UK Leading Building Services Contractor – NI Based Projects

A prominent, multi-award-winning UK building services contractor is looking for an M&E Site Manager to join their commercial decarbonisation team in Belfast. Known as the contractor of choice, a commercial energy specialist dedicated to driving decarbonisation and environmental sustainability across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Your new role
- Lead and develop the site management team to ensure timely project delivery.
- Attend on-site meetings to update clients on progress and upcoming work, addressing any risks.
- Ensure site teams work efficiently and meet high-level objectives.
- Verify that site teams use the correct drawing revisions.
- Confirm project value, drawings, specifications, and orders before starting work.
- Adhere to company HSEQ policies throughout the project.
- Develop accurate RAMS for all project work.
- Procure plant and equipment per specifications and client requirements.
- Survey existing services for integration with M&E and BMS packages.
- Track project costs to meet budget targets.
- Assess and manage labour and subcontractor needs.
- Prepare a detailed work programme to meet key dates.
- Provide accurate contract variation and monthly claims information.
- Prioritise workload to meet project programmes.
- Assist in preparing installation and “as installed” drawings.
- Issue daily reports on completed work and upcoming tasks.
- Complete and record all pressure tests.
- Finalise SAT documentation.
- Help prepare operation and maintenance manuals.
- Collaborate with MEP management and site teams to ensure safe, high-quality work.
What you’ll need to succeed
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience at a similar level.
- Trade background in mechanical or electrical industry
- Extensive knowledge and ability to deliver contracts in line with current installation regulations.
- Computer skills including the ability to operate Microsoft Office, Excel & Works Planner.
- Organised and structured approach to your work.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good interpersonal Skills
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Desirable Criteria:
- General construction knowledge of Civils and Building Fabric
- Previous Experience delivering projects within the Decarbonisation sector
- Familiar with the use of Fieldview / 4Projects and Openspace programs
