Site Manager

Abatec is seeking a Site Manager on a freelance contract to join our client, a regional contractor, for a Civil Engineering project in Southampton.

The successful candidate will have experience in the Civil Engineering industry, capable of self-delivery, and have prior experience working on pipeline and drainage systems including large diameter pipes.

As Site Manager you will:

* Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe and efficient project execution.

* Support and drive continuous improvement within the project delivery team.

* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.

* Work closely with the client, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong relationships.

* Monitor project progress, managing budgets and schedules effectively.

* Identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays and cost overruns.

* Lead site teams and foster a positive, safety-focused working environment.

Our client requires a Site Manager with:

* Valid CSCS

* SMSTS

* A good understating of health & safety protocols including RAMS

* Excellent communication skills

* A background in civil engineering including drainage and pipelines.

Salary/Benefits:

* £300-£350 Ltd per day
