Project Engineer – Piling, RC Frame & Basement

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a major development in Central London, overseeing piling, RC frame and basement packages. The successful candidate will support the Project Manager in delivering key phases, managing subcontractors, technical queries, and ensuring the works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate piling, RC frame and basement works on site.

Supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.

*

Provide technical support and resolve site issues with the design team.

*

Oversee site documentation including method statements, ITPs, and RFI responses.

*

Monitor progress, report on programme, and flag risks or delays.

*

Ensure QA procedures and site records are maintained.

*

Liaise with Project Manager, Site Engineers, and commercial team to ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Project Engineer on piling, RC frame and/or basement projects.

*

Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

*

Strong technical understanding of RC structures and temporary works.

*

Ability to manage subcontractors and drive works on site.

*

Good communication skills with site teams, clients, and design consultants.

*

CSCS card essential; SMSTS/SSSTS preferred
