Sphere Solutions are recruiting on behalf of their client who are looking to expand their commercial team and recruit a Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support both the development and contracting arms of the business. With a strong pipeline of projects and a busy order book, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company that values succession planning and long-term career development.

The Role:
As a Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while working closely with senior members of the team. Your role will include:
·Assisting with subcontractor procurement and contract administration
·Supporting cost planning and pricing activities
·Carrying out site measurements and valuations
·Assisting with invoicing and preparation of final accounts
·Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting

Projects:
You will gain exposure to a range of schemes, including:
·Affordable housing developments
·One-off bespoke housing projects
·Commercial developments
Most of the works carried out are secured through negotiated contracts and repeat clients, giving you the chance to build lasting professional relationships.

Requirements:
·Good IT skills (Excel, Word, and relevant software)
·A full UK driving license
·Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a supportive team
·Previous experience OR a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying
