Managing Quantity Surveyor

Managing QS / Commercial Manager – Hull – c£85k + Package

My client is looking for someone to join their business with the main aim of the role to be in an overseeing, managerial position, helping to support with training and development for the commercial team as well as ensuring processes and procedures are followed when reporting.

They currently have 6 people in the team including an estimator, four quantity surveyors and an apprentice.

The company specialises in groundworks within the residential arena (although does infrastructure for commercial developments as well), with a turnover of circa £40m.

The position would be primarily office based near Brough and the company are open minded as to an individual’s background due to it being more managerial. In an ideal world, the individual would have an understanding of either groundworks or housing (or both) but this is non essential if the managerial skills are in place.

There is a broad range in terms of salary (dependent on level of experience) – considering individuals from £65k to £87k plus package.
