Company Overview

Our client is a leading main contractor with an excellent track record of delivering high-quality projects across the UK. They are set to deliver a brand-new Leisure facility in Ashford, Kent and are seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the project through to successful completion.

Role & Responsibilities

As Senior Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all on-site operations. Responsibilities include:

* Taking full responsibility for site delivery, ensuring programme, quality, and safety targets are achieved.

* Managing day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, and labour resources.

* Leading on H&S compliance and ensuring all works are carried out to the highest standards.

* Monitoring progress, managing budgets, and reporting directly to the Project Manager/Contracts Manager.

* Driving site meetings with internal teams, consultants, and clients.

* Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and representing the contractor professionally.

Candidate Requirements

The successful Senior Site Manager will ideally have:

* Previous experience within the leisure sector (health clubs, gyms, leisure centres) OR a proven track record in new build projects for Tier 1 / Tier 2 main contractors.

* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

* A results-driven approach with the ability to handle fast-paced, high-value projects.

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, and First Aid certification.

* A proactive and professional attitude with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Package

* Salary: Up to £80,000 basic (depending on experience)
