Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £55,000 to £70,000 (DOE) + Package
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

The Role
The Programme Manager will join the Pre-Development team, a vital part of the business that supports land, commercial, buying and build functions. This role ensures the successful programming, monitoring, and delivery of tenders and live residential projects.
Reporting to the Head of Pre-Development, you’ll be responsible for coordinating internal teams, managing external consultants, and driving programme performance. The role involves regular collaboration with technical, commercial, and construction colleagues, as well as board-level reporting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Programme Development & Management
*
Coordinate with technical, commercial, and construction teams to ensure programme delivery.
*
Undertake site assessments, providing reporting and advice to improve delivery timescales.
*
Liaise with external consultants to ensure programmes remain on track.
Internal Relationship Management
*
Build and maintain strong working relationships across departments.
*
Attend networking events and develop an understanding of different teams to support project delivery.
Financial Management
*
Work within company financial systems, approving fee proposals and invoices.
*
Manage external spend approvals and personal expenses in line with policies.
Quality Management
*
Maintain accurate paper and electronic filing systems.
*
Apply the company’s philosophy and programme templates to ensure consistency.
*
Read and understand internal procedures, implementing them effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential:
*
Strong IT skills, particularly Asta Powerproject and MS Office.
*
Excellent report writing skills, business English, and attention to detail.
*
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
*
Engineering-related qualification.
*
Project Management or Site Management experience.
