Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator, or perhaps a Site Engineer with a solid mechanical knowledge foundation and ready to become a true specialist in design and build estimating? Salary and Benefits:
* A salary between £30,000 – £50,000 per annum
* Working Monday to Friday 35 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Preparing detailed, accurate estimates for mechanical design and build projects
* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify requirements
* Sourcing and assessing subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Evaluating risks, margins, and opportunities within bids
* Working closely with Project Managers and Directors to hand over successful tenders
* Playing a key role in shaping the success and growth of the business
Minimum Skills and Experience Required:
* Some proven experience in estimating within building services or contracting
* Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems
* Analytical mindset with excellent numerical skills
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
* A positive, proactive approach – someone who finds solutions, takes ownership, and contributes to the team’s success
* Confident communicator with negotiation skills
* Motivated to become an expert in design and build estimating
