Project Manager – Northern Region (Civils & Construction)
Location: Manchester / Newcastle / Norfolk (with travel & lodging as required)

We’re working with a leading sub contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver major schemes in the North of England. With a secured project in South Manchester and more opportunities in Manchester, Newcastle and Norfolk: this is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on high value projects.

The successful candidate will initially spend 4 weeks on a project in London or Wales to get up to speed with company processes and culture.

The Role

Manage projects up to £8m to £12m.

*

Build and lead project teams, ensuring compliance with strict QA procedures.

*

Chair client meetings and represent the business professionally.

*

Programme management using Microsoft Project.

*

Willing to work/lodge away; availability to work abroad (Germany, Italy, Portugal) an advantage.

About You

*

Experienced Project Manager, ideally with subcontractor background.

*

Strong leadership and organisational skills.

*

Capable of independently managing complex projects.

*

Proficient in Microsoft Project.

*

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
