Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor who are seeking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

* Managing the commercial aspects of multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects.

* Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.

* Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and maximising profitability.

* Managing subcontractor accounts and payments.

* Producing accurate monthly valuations and cost reports.

* Liaising with clients, project managers, and site teams to support smooth project delivery.

The Requirements

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civils and groundworks.

* Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and subcontractor procurement.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* A proactive, detail-focused professional who can work both independently and as part of a team.

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
