Site Manager/Engineer

Site Manager/Engineer – Civils/RC Frame/Groundworks – London – £320

The Client: Our client is a newly established, multi-disciplined civil engineering, RC Frame and groundworks specialist, offering a range of core services to suit any new build construction project. These range from residential, commercial and industrial developments to all types of infrastructure projects across London and the northern Home Counties. They work on projects up to the value of £2.5m.

The Role: You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager where you will be responsible for up to 3 jobs at any one time.

General duties will include;

* Day to day site management

* Thorough understanding of scope, spec + drawings

* Hiring plant and ordering material for the jobs

* Making sure health and safety standards are being kept

* Keeping accurate daily records

Type of work involved;

* Excavations and muckaway

* RC foundations, slabs, walls etc.

* Blockwork + brickwork

* Beam and block flooring

* Drainage + services

* Paving and landscaping

The Requirements: You must be degree qualified in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent. They are looking for an intermediate level candidate from a civils / groundworks subcontracting background who has a good knowledge of how to do this type of work. Someone with plenty of drive and not afraid to make decisions and take on responsibility.
