The Opportunity

As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring all works are set out accurately, delivered efficiently, and fully compliant with project requirements. This is a chance to showcase your expertise while collaborating with one of the sector’s top names.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out, levelling, and surveying site works in line with project specifications.

Managing and interpreting contract design documents.

*

Coordinating requisition and delivery of materials and plant.

*

Working closely with project managers, supervisors, and teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

*

Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built drawings and survey data.

*

Promoting and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

*

Demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within highways, groundworks, or civil engineering.

*

Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering (preferred).

*

Proficient with surveying equipment (total stations, GPS).

*

Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

*

Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
