Estimator

We are working with a leading main contractor who are seeking to appoint a Senior Estimator to their pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional to join a dynamic organisation with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors.

The Role:

* Leading the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction projects.

* Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to assess requirements.

* Engaging with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to source competitive pricing.

* Analysing project risks and ensuring appropriate allowances are incorporated.

* Working collaboratively with design, commercial, and operational teams to ensure accurate bid submissions.

* Supporting the wider pre-construction function and mentoring junior team members.

About You:

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an estimating role within the construction industry (main contracting or similar).

* Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

* Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

* Proven track record of producing accurate and timely estimates on a range of projects.

* Ability to manage multiple tenders under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
