M&E Quality Assurance (QA) Manager – Landmark Pharmaceutical Facility

Salary: £85,000.00 Plus package

An industry-leading M&E contractor, renowned for delivering complex, high-value projects across the UK and Europe, is seeking an experienced M&E Quality Assurance Manager to join the delivery team on a flagship pharmaceutical R&D facility.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Director, you will:
* Develop and implement project-specific M&E Quality Plans, ITPs, and commissioning checklists.
* Lead QA/QC inspections and audits across all mechanical and electrical installations.
* Ensure compliance with design specifications, statutory regulations, and industry standards (BS, IEC, CIBSE).
* Manage QA documentation, including NCRs, snagging, test results, and handover packs.
* Collaborate with consultants, design teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and non-conformities.
* Supervise and mentor QA/QC engineers and inspectors.
* Support commissioning and handover by verifying all inspections, testing, and documentation are complete.
* Foster a culture of quality, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
About You
* Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of building services systems (HVAC, LV/HV electrical systems, fire protection, BMS, etc.).
* Competent in digital QA platforms (FieldView, Aconex, BIM 360).
