The Role
As a Chartered Technician, you will:
* Play a key role in the technical delivery of projects from planning through to completion
* Work closely with architects, designers, and external consultants
* Use your knowledge of construction, building regulations, and technical design to bring residential projects to life
Responsibilities
* Produce accurate technical drawings and detailed construction packages using REVIT
* Oversee coordination of technical design across all project stages
* Prepare and submit planning and building regulation applications
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project progression
* Ensure compliance with current building regulations and technical standards
* Support junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture
Requirements
* Chartered Member of CIAT (essential)
* Strong experience in UK residential projects (new builds, extensions, conversions)
* Advanced proficiency in REVIT and familiarity with BIM workflows
* Solid understanding of UK building regulations and construction methods
* Excellent technical detailing skills and attention to accuracy
* Effective communicator with a proactive and professional approach
