Your new role
As Contracts Manager with this contractor, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing all contractual aspects of their projects. This includes drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and company policies.
You will work closely with senior management, clients, and subcontractors to address contractual issues, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project delivery.
Your strong contractual law expertise and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of contracts will be pivotal in safeguarding the company’s interests and facilitating smooth project execution.
What you’ll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you will need a robust background in contractual law for construction and extensive experience in managing contracts within the industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and fellow team members. You must have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving contractual issues while showcasing the ability to find and seal attractive projects / frameworks / contracts.
Excellent organisational skills are crucial for managing multiple contracts simultaneously and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Relevant qualifications in construction or a similar field, along with a deep understanding of construction contract standards and best practices, are required. This role will require the successful applicant to be prepared to travel across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
