Senior Building Surveyor

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRICS Building Surveyor with consultancy experience for a multi-disciplinary Project Management Consultancy firm, to lead projects, manage client relationships, and oversee a wide range of building surveying services across residential, commercial, and educational properties.

Key Responsibilities

Advise on design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment.

*

Conduct building/condition surveys and defect analysis.

*

Prepare specifications, tenders, schedules of dilapidations, and Party Wall matters.

*

Manage contracts, maintenance programmes, and insurance-related remedial works.

*

Lead and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary design teams on projects (£50k–£4m).

*

Act as quality monitor and provide technical reviews.

*

Supervise, mentor, and manage junior surveyors.

*

Drive client management and business development.

Skills & Experience

*

MRICS qualified with strong consultancy background.

*

Excellent technical knowledge of building surveying.

*

Strong communication, reporting, and client-facing skills.

*

Proven ability to lead projects, manage teams, and deliver high-quality outcomes
